Data & Account Deletion

You can delete your KidzSync account and personal data at any time. This page explains how — as required by both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Delete in the app

Open KidzSync → Settings → Privacy & data → Delete my account. You'll be asked to confirm. Your personal data is scrubbed immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days. This works for every account type — parent, guardian, educator and centre admin.

Request by email

Prefer to email? Write to delete@kidzsync.com from your account address. We may ask a question or two to verify it's really you, then complete the deletion.

What gets deleted — and when

• Deleted: your profile, contact details, messages you sent, preferences and device diagnostics.
• Timeline: removed from live systems immediately and purged from backups within 30 days.
• Retained: limited records we're legally required to keep (e.g. financial/invoice records), held only as long as the law requires, then deleted.

A child's data

Because a childcare centre is the controller of the records it keeps about a child, some child data may sit within the centre's account. A parent/guardian can ask the centre, or email privacy@kidzsync.com, to review, correct or delete a child's information, and we will act on the controller's instruction.

Export first

Want to keep your child's memories? Request an export of your portfolio before deleting — email privacy@kidzsync.com and we'll provide your data in a portable format.
